Rifle Range Regulations

1. Shooting hours are 9:30 am to 30 minutes before dusk.
2. All rifles shall be left with their actions open. Rifle chambers and magazines must be empty and rifles put in the rack, before anyone moves down range to the target area.
3. All non-shooters must remain behind the firing hill, unless supervised
4. Do not advance beyond the firing hill until the firing line is declared safe.
5. Do not fire faster than 1 round every 2 seconds.
6. Load only 5 rounds per magazine.
7. Do not touch firearms when the shooters are down range.
8. Do not bring firearms to the firing hill when shooters are down range.
9. When two or more persons are using the rifle range, one person will act as Range Officer to ensure safe and proper shooting procedures.
10. The gate must remain locked at all times.
11. Shooters must clean up their trash including spent cartridges and used targets. Place these in the proper garbage bins.
12. Use Shotgun slugs only. Shot should be used on the patterning Board.
13. Prohibited firearms and handguns are not allowed on this range
