CLUB SKEET AND TRAP REGULATIONS
- No gun shall be loaded until the shooter is on the shooting station. Loading is considered as putting a shell in any part of the gun.
- When not at the shooting station, the gun shall be carried with the breech open.
- When the shooter is at the station ready to shoot and a delay such as equipment breakdown occurs, the gun must be opened and all shells extracted.
- Management requires that in skeet, no more than two shells be loaded at any station at one time except for station eight high house, where only one shell will be loaded. Also only one shell should be loaded at any time in trap, unless a doubles competition is taking place.
- Any shooter using a gun with a "release" type trigger must notify the other members of the squad and referee, if present.
- Any shooter whose gun accidentally discharges for mechanical reasons must change guns or, if time permits, have the gun repaired before continuing to shoot the round or subsequent rounds.
- Only field personnel and the squads which are shooting are allowed beyond the sidewalk boundaries.
- No more than 5 persons per squad are allowed.
- Only one shot is allowed per target.
- No shot larger than 7-1/2 is permitted. (Target loads only.)
