Like a surgical instrument, the Abu Garcia® Veritas PLX Casting Rod imparts a sense of precision and control that allows you to do your best work. This next-gen rod is built on a Powerlux® 100 blank comprised of premium 30 Ton carbon fibers with a thin, extremely lightweight resin baked into every nook and cranny; the result is a rod that's 15% stronger and 5% lighter in weight, yet stil incredibly sensitive and well-balanced. Its advanced ROCS™ (Robotically Optimized Casting System) guide train uses super-light titanium alloy guides with Zirconium inserts, spaced for optimum castability and balance. Abu's custom exposed-blank reel seat and closed cell EVA split grips provide optimum balance, hypersensitive feel, and superb comfort for long days on the water.
