3. Firearms Purchases
- Regulations: The purchase of firearms is subject to applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations. You must have the necessary licenses and permits to purchase a firearm.
- Verification: We will verify your eligibility to purchase a firearm before processing your order.
- In-Store Pickup: Firearms must be picked up in-store. We do not ship firearms directly to customers.
4. Privacy
You have read the Gagnon Sports Privacy Charter (the “Privacy Policy”), the terms of which appear on gagnonsports.com and are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, and you agree that the terms of the Privacy Policy are reasonable. You consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by Gagnon Sports and/or Third Parties in accordance with the terms of and for the purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy.
5. Review Guidelines
The Site is public; therefore, we ask that you follow some basic rules. We moderate all reviews before posting them and reserve the right to deny any review at our absolute discretion. Your review should describe your experience using the product and include details about what you liked or disliked.
Here are some examples of the type of content that can cause a review to be denied:
- Offensive, abusive or prejudicial language.
- Reviews that are not relevant to the product being reviewed.
- Reviews that exceed 100 words.
- Reviews that contain a price reference.

6. Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise stated or included as a promotion, you are responsible for all applicable shipping charges. Rates displayed on the website are estimates only. If the actual shipping cost exceeds the estimated rate, we will contact you for approval of the additional charges before your order is shipped. We reserve the right to collect this additional payment before shipment.
- Free Shipping: Some orders may not qualify for free shipping due to size, weight, or destination constraints. In such cases, we reserve the right to either refund the order or provide you with a shipping quote. Additional payment for shipping will be required before shipment.
- Remote Areas: Due to Canada's vast geography and the high cost of shipping to remote communities, we reserve the right to refund orders or make alternative shipping arrangements for deliveries to areas where shipping is prohibitively expensive. We will contact you to discuss options if this applies to your order.
- Signature Required: Purchases over $400.00 will require a customer's signature upon delivery.
- Ice Hut Shipping: At this time, we only ship pop-up ice huts across Canada. We do not ship sleds or x-over huts. Pop-up ice huts are subject to a $55.00 shipping fee. This fee is an estimate and may not reflect the final shipping cost. We will contact you if the actual shipping cost is higher, and additional payment may be required before shipment.
7. Order Processing
- We strive to process and ship orders promptly. However, processing times may vary depending on product availability and order volume.
8. Product Availability
- Product availability is subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our inventory, but in the event an item is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss options, such as a refund or a backorder.
9. Returns and Exchanges
- Please refer to our separate Refund (return) Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
10. Disclaimer
- While we strive to provide accurate information on our website, errors and omissions may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions and to update information at any time without prior notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gagnon Sports shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the products sold on this website.
